Julian Kreimer is an artist, critic, and educator. He is a 2018 NYSCA/NYFA Painting Fellow. Solo and two-person show include TSA LA, Lux Art Institute in Encinitas, CA, and Weeknights Gallery, Brooklyn. Group shows include Alexandre Gallery, Snyderman Works Gallery, and TSA Gallery. He’s been a repeat Yaddo and MacDowell Fellow, and was artist-in-residence at Hotel Pupik in Schrattenberg, Austria. His work has been reviewed in publications such as Art in America, Hyperallergic, and Artcritical. He is an associate professor at SUNY Purchase College, a frequent contributor to Art in America, and has written for Paper Monument and Modern Painters.
